In case you want to know more about me:

For me yoga is a living and ever expanding practice, that changes according to what is needed for the evolution of our souls. I wholeheartedly believe that yoga is not just a practice we do on our mats, it's a practice we do each day and with each breath. LIVING YOGA is what resonates with me; taking the skills, challenges, successes, and experiences we have on our mats, and applying them to our everyday lives. As we align our bodies in poses, we are actually aligning ourselves with our greater purpose. As we flow, we are actually learning to ride the ups and downs of life with grace and ease. Even the music in the room serves as a shared language and vibration that actually bonds us together in ways that words cannot.  All of these elements, and more, come together in my classes to weave together a complex and beautiful tapestry that becomes the fabric of our living yoga. My hope is that yoga unites your heart and soul, and that your mind and body become open to the vast experiences that life has to offer. Come explore with me on the mat, and I truly believe yoga will change your life.

As you might imagine, yoga and my family are my true passions.  I am a full-time yoga teacher, and owner of Evolve to Harmony.  I have been blessed with an amazing husband and three wonderful daughters, who let me be who I really am. In return, I try my best to live my yoga each day, both in the studio and in everyday life, enjoying each breath I am given on this beautiful planet!  I strongly believe in the mind-body connection, and use my experience in the field of Psychology to help bridge the two through heart-centered teaching; weaving together body, breath, and mind through the power of movement and the vibration of music.  I am primarily a Vinyasa Flow teacher, although I adore teaching ALL styles of yoga, because variety is the spice of life!

In order to help keep my fire burning bright, and share my light with others, I love to continue my education and study on various aspects of yoga on a continual basis. My hours of Teacher Training have now exceeded thousands of hours, and I have no intention of stopping!  Some of my most inspirational experiences have been with Shiva Rea, Maty Ezraty, Annie Carpenter, Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Noah Maze, Douglas Brooks, Amy Ippoliti, and Indu Arora.

I am a lover of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and have pursued studies in this area through Yin Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage.  I am certified at the Essential Level in Thai Yoga Massage and Thai Reflexology through Kriplau and the Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Massage programs.  I am also certified in Reiki Levels I and II.

Anyone that knows me, knows that I wholeheartedly believe in the power of Shakti! Therefore I am dedicated to empowering women through their life cycle and birthing experiences, and am so humbled to be a Childbirth Educator, Doula, and Prenatal Teacher.

What’s next for me?! Who knows where this juicy river will take me...but I know I would like to continue to grow as a person and share my mistakes and victories along the way...

In the meantime, I hope to see YOU on the mat one day soon, and we can share a moment in time together, as we are ALL connected in this great big web of LIFE!
